I have to admit, I was one of the few book bloggers who didn't fall head over heels in love with The Body Finder. Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate it or anything, but I found it to be a fairly mediocre read. However, I do think Derting has talent as an author, and I'm willing to give her another shot with The Pledge, especially since you enjoyed it so much!

I enjoyed this one because I thought it was going to be another book in the sea of vast paranormal titles but I was surprised at what I got. Instead this book is more fantasy and dystopian than I thought it was going to be and I loved the older world feel to it where Kingdoms ruled all.

I can't wait for the next book because I need to know more!

I really enjoyed it too!!! I felt that the beginning was a bit slow and it did me some time to get sucked in the story, but then, I loved it.
I don't want to spoil anything but one of the best things about this book was the Sister-Sister relationship, This really brought tears into my eyes!
