I can’t believe how quickly July flew by and here we are in the last month of the summer. I’ve been busy, busy, busy. The kids want to go, go, go and I need to work, work, work but I want to read, write and plan travels. I purchased my domain for my travel blog so
hopefully that’ll be up soon. I’m just getting it set up you can find it HERE! I have prepared some pieces already, so I will post those soon should be set to go as soon as the blog is live. It’s very exciting!
On Tuesday I went to the waterfront park and met up with Kate Dyer-Seeley, she’s the author of the mystery Scene of the Climb and has published articles with various publications. She’s been excellent help with the travel writing and has seriously given me the biggest boost of confidence and excitement. She’s just been amazing. I’ll have an interview with her soon and a video for the travel blog where she talks about the best PNW locations.
It’s been hard to read this summer, but I’ve found a few amazing books and I’m hoping it’s going to continue to get easier. Finding time is hard, but sometimes (often) I just don’t connect completely. That makes it hard cause I don’t feel the urge to read.
Anyway, I decided to make a TBR vlog for August (I had to try out my super amazing new camera) and so here you go! (I really need to learn how to edit them so you don’t have to see me walk to and from the camera. Yikes, one more thing to do!)
Update: I finished Shadows by E.C. Blake and it was amazing!
For those who can’t watch the video, here are (most of) the books listed:
Homeroom Diaries (currently half way through)
The Vault of Dreamers
Falling Into Place
Finding Ruby Starling
A Million Ways Home
A Little Something Different
Trial By Fire
Little Author in the Big Woods
Mortal Danger (maybe, considering DNF’ing it)
Siege and Storm
and more that I put on a different shelf. I think. This months TBR is OUT OF CONTROL!
Oh, and added to is NEUROTICA by Eliza Gordon. Starting it now, so excited!
Happy reading and happy August my friends!
