Books-n-Blogger Swap! These are my goodies!

I signed up for the Books ‘n’ Bloggers Swap hosted by Chaotic Goddess Swaps. You really should check them out, they are great!

My swap partner was Susan at A Soul Unsung.  We did a lot of chatting before picking our gifts for each other.  I happened to be attending an event at Powells so I was able to get her mostly all books on her wishlist. But the way this one worked is you are suppose to get each person 3 books.

  • A book on their wishlist
  • A book you loved
  • A book you want to read

We both ended up getting each other four books though. And look at the beautiful presentation!  Everything she sent me was wrapped up beautifully.

She sent me Throne of Glass, which was from my wishlist. I read an ARC of it, but it was borrowed. She sent Snow White & the Huntman and Rosebush as books she wants to read and The Carrier of the Mark as one she loved.  I’ve been curious about Snow White and the Huntsman and Rosebush was one I hadn’t heard of, but it sounds really good!

I loved everything I got!  She even sent a gorgeous beaded bookmark, hot chocolate and chocolate covered sunflower seeds. So much awesome!  I’ll definitely sign up for another swap in the future.

Thanks for subscribing!

  1. That is AWESOME! So beautiful and thoughtful! This is something I would do for someone I’m sending something for. My husband always gets on me when I’m gift giving. He always thinks that I got over board. You can NEVER go over board when Your giving some one a gift.
:) xoxox Hope you enjoy you new books, bookmark, hot coco and chocalate covered sunflowing seeds :)

  2. Wow- what a haul! I can’t wait to see how you like Carrier of the Mark. And yay for cocoa to have with the reading! Thanks so much for joining us, and I’m glad we could partner you with Susan. 😀

  3. I love that site for swaps. I’ve done a few with them. I wanted to sign up for this one but I just didn’t have the money at the time…

You got some awesome items. That’s cool you both got each other four books. :)
