FREE Prequel- Jenny's 1st Adventure by Anna Staniszewski

As a gift to everyone, this holiday season, author Anna Staniszewski would like to share "Jenny's First Adventure", a FREE exclusive short story that gives you the inside scoop on how an average day in gym class changed Jenny's life into a real live magical fairy tale...often with not so happy endings.  To check out "Jenny's First Adventure", go to https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/261491. Feel free to share this with others as well!

This is an e-prequel so you can get a taste of the books without reading full length novel!  These books sound so cute! Here's the super short description:

How does an average girl become a magical adventurer, anyway? Find out in this short prequel to My Very UnFairy Tale Life! (Includes some fun UnFairy bonus content!)

Book One, out now:

You know all those stories that claim fairies cry sparkle tears and elves travel by rainbow? They're lies. All lies.
I've spent my life as an official adventurer. I travel across enchanted kingdoms saving magical creatures and fighting horrible beasts that most of you think are only myths and legends. I've never had a social life. My friends have all forgotten me. And let's not even talk about trying to do my homework. So -- I'm done!! I'm tired and I want to go back to being a normal girl. But then along comes "Prince Charming" asking for help, and, well, what's a tired girl like me supposed to do?
"Jenny is an adventurer I'd definitely want in my corner if my life ever took a wrong turn from Happily Ever After." -- Helene Boudreau, author of Real Mermaids Don't Wear Toe Rings
"Readers will laugh their way through the ups and downs of Jenny's many (mis)adventures." -- Jennifer A. Nielsen, author of Elliot and the Goblin War

Book Two, out March 2013:
Fairy tales do come true. Unfortunately.

Jenny the Adventurer is back, and this time she's off to the Land of Tales: the crazy place that all fairy tales come from. If she can defeat an evil witch and complete three impossible tasks--all without getting eaten by blood-thirsty monsters--Jenny might finally get some answers about what happened to her parents.

This is one adventure Jenny can't afford to fail.

  1. This sounds like a really cute series. Thanks for posting about the prequel, I grabbed it! I love prequels for the very reason you mentioned, they let you get a feel for the author's writing and series and can sometimes really help in determining whether I should go on with the series or not.
