Demons.
They’re everywhere, hiding in plain sight. Chances are, you’ve interacted with one or two of them in your lifetime without even realizing it...
Demon hunter Evelyn Brighton saves unsuspecting humans from the malevolent creatures masquerading around them every day. Working under the Lebriga Corporation’s direction, she never fails to bring her A-game with her keen skill, fiercely independent spirit, and the best weapon in her arsenal: the Divinity blade.
Evelyn’s world is turned on its ear, however, when she is ordered to train cocky new recruit Daniel Summers. They both feel an instinctive pull drawing them to one another, the ancient spells tattooed into their skin illuminating whenever the two hunters come into contact. But with evil looming over the city of Los Angeles, Evelyn and Daniel’s mutual competitiveness and sense of duty to Lebriga and all humankind forces them to hold back their desires. Will their restraint be enough to keep them focused and save southern California, or will the dark forces prevail?
Set in modern-day Los Angeles, Divinity is an action-filled, fast-paced marriage of urban fantasy and paranormal romance. Edgy, witty, and sexy, it will bind you in its spell.
Hidey ho my fabulous little love monkeys and a super big shout out to Candace for having me over here at her book blog! Now let’s all gather around the proverbial fire and talk demons, shall we? More specifically, let’s talk about the big baddie in my little tale, Mzetir.
Mzetir is the leader of the Aremoc clan and he is hell bent (no pun intended LOL) on taking over anything he can sink his claws in. In his twisted little demon skull, he figures the “good guys” have had control of things long enough. He believes that it is his turn to run the show that is the plane of existence as we know it, starting with the city of Los Angeles. He’s got quite the plan concocted so let’s hope that Evie and Daniel can get their ducks in a row in time to save the day!
I have a confession to make…I had a blast writing Mzetir! There is something very cathartic about exploring the dark side of your brain, tapping into and pulling apart your own nightmares to see what makes them tick. You almost have carte blanche when you write someone like this which is also very freeing and liberating. And when you favor all things dark and macabre, as I do, it can be extremely fun!
Again, I’d like to thank Miss Candace for joining the amazing blog tour, I’m truly honored that you let me stop by and play on your blog!
Until next time,
Patty <3

OMG! Mzetir gave me nightmares for weeks! I soooo didn't need to see his "transformation"! Yuck!
ReplyDeleteBut I really like how you didn't hold back with him. It was a big gruesome, but I think it was necessary to get the feel of his character.
Thanks Patty and Candace.
