CBB Book Promotions: Now Open & Accepting New Tours

Hello everyone, if you don't already know me my name is Candace.  I've been blogging about books since 2009.  I've been immersed in the book community since 2005.  Because I love it so much I decided to open up a book promotions service to help authors get their books off the ground.  There are loads of companies out there and each one has it's own specialties and things going for it.  So this is what you need to know about me and the services I provide:

How is CBB Book Promotions different?
Here at CBB Book Promotions I am keeping it personal and focused.  I don't send out emails to 30+ people in one shot.  I go through and find the bloggers that enjoy similar books to the one I'm representing.  I look through my list, I visit the blogs and check their policy each time.  I have a huge data base to work from, but I do my legwork so that takes up time.  However, in doing that extra work it gets your book to the right viewers. Update: I started doing a sign up page to get an idea of who is interested in the book.  I then check out their following, their reviews, whether they have regular content, etc and pick out those that I feel would fit the tour best.  After doing that I start booking the tour by emailing bloggers individually.

What you get:
I offer promotions suited to the individual author and their book, such as: Cover reveals, book reviews, arranging book tours, time-lapsed reviews as well as regular publicity services.  Whatever you'd like to do, I'll try to work with you to get it done!  Please note that I do not do book blitz type tours as we prefer to keep the content on each blog exclusive.  However I do teaser tours which will reveal an exclusive excerpt for each blog.  I am willing to work with any other fun ideas you may have like a continuous character or author interviews that travel around to different blogs.  Ideas are welcome!

What's the catch?
I work with the authors of books I enjoy.  This ensures that my customers receive a promotional experience as enthusiastic and dedicated as they are themselves.  I am willing to promote books that are traditionally published, self published or indie published.  I'm looking for content I enjoy, that has the proper elements of a story and are well edited.  I can't promote stuff I don't stand behind.  But this works for you because it means my reviewers that I work with are much more willing to trust me.  So your book gets in the proper hands.

Tours and what they consist of:
Tours usually consist of reviews, guest posts, interviews and giveaways.  Review books and giveaway items will be provided by the author. Giveaways are not required, but they help draw traffic to the posts.  The bigger the giveaway, the better. I can work with most budgets.

Average Tour:

Consists of 25-30 stops with a mix of reviews, interviews, guest posts and giveaways.  This can be customized to meet your needs.  It can be a 10 day event with multiple stops, or a 30 day event. This is up to you.
This includes a banner/button provided by Imagination Designs, and a page right here on my blog announcing the tour. I am also willing to host a stop on the tour.  I also visit every single stop on the tour to tweet,  post on facebook and pin on pinterest.  I do my best to promote each and every stop. 
Price= $150 (Remember I can customize and the price will depend upon how many stops you would like.)


Reviews only package:
This of course depends on how many reviews you are looking for.
Prices start at $45 for 10 reviews.

Cover reveal:
Want a series of blogs to reveal your cover?  I can arrange it all for you. Please note that I prefer to have some exclusive content to go with each reveal.  This can be a small teaser quote or excerpt or the author answering a question (for example).
Prices start at $20 for 10 reveals.

Or you can hire me to be your Publicist or Assistant:
Hire me to book your reviews, interviews, giveaways and other publicity.  Keep your book out there and in the eye of the readers with regular features.  
I charge by the month and by what your expectations may be.  Contact me for pricing.

Please note that I cannot guarantee good reviews.  All bloggers that I work with write their honest opinions only.  However, if a blogger dislikes a book (less than 3 stars) they are asked to post their review outside of the tour.  The tour is to promote the book and not give it bad publicity.  They are still encouraged to post it at another date.  Also, be aware that while a 3 star review means they liked the book they are still likely to point out some negatives.  I encourage them to keep the review positive if it's for the tour, but I am not in control of what they say.  We all have different opinions as well.

What I will work with...
I will tour YA, NA, Adult, MG and Children's books of most genre's. I am more selective with adult titles. Please contact me as it will depend on each book and if I feel I have the contacts of reviewers that would enjoy it. 
I need adequate time to arrange the tour or promotion, as well as time for the reviewers to read the book.  I ask for at least 2 months, 3 months is preferable.

Update:  I am currently accepting limited amount of books for tours or other promotions.  Spring is a busy time and in June I will be on vacation.  I will be doing no tours in June or July (I already have a tour scheduled for the second half of July).  If you are published traditionally with a large press I can more likely fit you in because finding hosts is much less time consuming.  If you are self published or with a small press you can email me and let me know what you're looking for but I will be accepting a very few new clients. If I have worked with you previously please email me.
