Once Upon a Read-a-Thon Kick Off!

Once Upon a Read-a-Thon

The Once Upon a Read-a-Thon is here!  In case you didn't already know, this awesome event is hosted by myself, Lori from Pure Imagination and Angela from Reading Angel.  It runs from right now through July 11th.  It's not too late to sign up!  We are also giving away a $60 gift card to one lucky participant!  In order to qualify you have to do at least one update post and at least one challenge.  The winner will be selected from those who sign up on the linky on the sign up post (click the button on the left).

You do not have to have a blog to participate but you do have to post updates somewhere. Twitter, Facebook, all those places work. If you update on twitter be sure to add the hashtag #OUReadathon so we can all see how everyone is doing! Also, to qualify for all the awesome prizes you need to participate in at least one challenge.

We have mini challenges!  Here is the schedule for you all:

Monday:
Stiletto Storytime

Wednesday:

Goals:
I'm setting my goals pretty low so I should be able to reach them.  I'm a mood reader though, so it's possible I'll blow one or more off to read something else. Here are a few on my stack.  My goal is to read at least three of them.

Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen
What I Saw and How I Lied by Judy Blundell
The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielson
The Hunchback Assignments by Arthur Slade
Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas (I might start this before the readathon, so it's possible it'll be taken off the list.)
And there are SO many I WANT to read, so this list could very well change!

Good luck everyone!  Happy reading!

  13. I wish I could have done this but I am still spinning my wheels since I got back, trying to catch up. I seriously need to go on a reading binge and get some books off my pile! Glad to see that summer finally arrived in Portland just in time for my return!

  14. Throne of Glass sounds awesome! I'm hoping to get two books read. I have like 5 reviews to write so that cuts into my reading time. I love read-a-thons so thanks for hosting!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I hope you'll take the time to leave a comment. I try to reply to comments on here and/or through email (if you have it set so you can get replied to by email) but I'm not ALWAYS able to.

I do not accept awards because I do not have the time to repost. I thank you for considering me and your comments are the best award I could get!
