In My Mailbox (99)

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren and is where we share the books we got through the week.
I didn't get any books in the mail this week!  It was really weird, but not a bad thing really.  I got all these at Value Village (which is like a goodwill, all used stuff) and bought Envy new.

Envy (A Novel of the Fallen Angels #3) by J.R. Ward
Holidays are Hell by Kim Harrison, Lynsay Sands, Marjorie M. Liu and Vicki Pettersson
Stray (Shifters #1) by Rachel Vincent
The Boyfriend List by E. Lockhart
Thailand  travel book so I can dream of one day traveling there.

Why can't there be a store like that here? I mean, is it so much to ask to even have a decent bookstore where I can actually find YA books? T_T apparently yes because we have neither T_T

  22. I love rescuing used books (as I like to call it) now and then. In fact, I haven't done that in a while. I may have to visit my most local used book store soon.

  23. I haven't read any J.R. Ward but I see her (I think it's a she) books everywhere these days! And I got the Boyfriend List a couple of months ago, still trying to get to it. LOVED Lockhart's Disreputable History of Frankie Landau Banks:) Nice haul Candace:)

  26. Gah I still need to read JR Ward's angel series. I own the first two books but never got around to reading them. Since you just got book three I'm assuming you have read them..are they any good?

I still have to read Stray, I have a copy and it is on my shelf tbr pile which is what I try to get into between review books but it is hard to make time for everything.

Can't wait to see what you think of all of these great books.

    Happy reading!

  33. Can you believe that I've never read any J.R. Ward books? I've wanted to, and people have been telling me too, but I just haven't got around to it. I suck.

I *think* I remember which story of Harrison's is in Holidays are Hell, but I'm not sure. Doesn't matter.. I know it's good. lol
