This is a novella that takes place before The Girl in the Steel Corset. It works fine as a stand alone or to test the waters to see if you want to read the series.

I've been wanting to get Deadly Cool for FOREVER! It's a book that I've constantly had my eye on since the release date but haven't gotten around to purchasing. I think I just need to do it!

I was reading a book of short stories not too long ago and Lani was one of the authors and I really enjoyed her short stories so I might have to try her full length novels. (pst, let me know what you think of both if you read them any time soon) :)
