In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren and is where we share the books we got through the week.
I finally had a slower week and actually thought I might not have any. But then I went to a book signing and picked up a couple clearance books. And I got one book for review.
Review:
Vamplayers by Rusty Fischer {Thanks Rusty!}
This was a pretty fabulous read! I'll have the review up soon with a giveaway!
Bought:
Fracture by Megan Miranda
This was the signing I went to so it's *signed*!
Marissa Meyer was there as well but my copy of Cinder is in SD so I just got a couple bookplates signed and grabbed a couple bookmarks. I got bookmarks for Fracture too.
Magic on the Hunt (Allie Beckstrom #6) by Devon Monk
I've been reading and enjoying this series. I found this one for $3 and didn't have it yet so had to pick it up!
Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler
Another clearance rack deal! And I still haven't read this one!
So what was in your mailbox?

I read Fracture last weekend I'm still not sure what exactly to say about it. I liked in some parts loved it and hated it! I hope you enjoy everything. Come check out my IMM!

I have Fracture on hold at the library so I can't wait to pick that one up. I'm glad you got to go to a book signing, I just went to my first one of 2012 last night.
ReplyDeleteI hope you continue to enjoy Monk's series.
Happy reading
Ooh, I love the cover for Fracture and I'm sure it's even more gorgeous in person! Considering this was a slow week for you, you still got some awesome books. Twenty Boy Summer is really good too. I liked Fixing Delilah more, but TBS is still fantastic.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting stack this week. YAY book signings. I'm interested to read your review for Vamplayers, because the title makes me never want to read it. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteI have Fracture and can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read tweenty boy summer either, but I've heard really good things about it! I was bummed that Megan Miranda and Marissa Meyer weren't coming down here on their tour. But a friend went to their signing and got me some signed copies. I'm looking forward to reading Fracture. Clearance book shopping is the best! You can snag some amazing deals!!!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Fracture...it seemed to be a bit different and more refreshing than a lot of YA out there. Hope you enjoy it!
