In My Mailbox (71)

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren and is where we share all the books we got through the week, no matter the source.
My book buying ban has continued with my allowance being able to buy books at book signings.  So I bought two.  Considering there were six authors I would say I did VERY well!  Luckily I already owned books for all but one.   Also, I have posted video of the signing with a swag giveaway.  And I have a few other new giveaways up. Just look up to the top of the page and you'll find the links.
I had 'help' with the video, so excuse her.  And our appearance, it was early morning!
For Review:
Wildwood by Colin Meloy
The Unwanteds by Lisa McMann
Thanks to Amazon Vine
Bloodspell by Amalie Howard (with a cool bag!)
Open Wounds by Joseph Lunievicz
and  not mentioned in video because kids had already taken off with it.
The Journey of the Noble Knarble

Thank you JKS Communications!
Torrent (River of Time #3) by Lisa Bergren
Thank you Lisa!

Borrowed:
I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone by Stephanie Kuehnert
Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins (read and LOVED!)

  8. You got some wonderful books. I hadn't heard of Naked City, I will have to see if I can get myself it. I love Patricia Briggs and I have been recommended Jim Butcher so a way to get a taste of his writing with the anthology.

  20. Wow, great books! I plan on searching out a copy of Wildwood for myself. I hope you like Open Wounds as much as I did.

LOLA AND THE BOY NEXT DOOR!! One of my favorite books ever!!! EVER EVER EVER. I think it's better than Anna, but I was/am/will now forever be pretty smitten with Cricket.

Good job sticking to your ban too. I've spent way too much on books recently. Enjoy all your new books, Candace :)
