Description:
Please note that this is number 6 in a series, spoilers from previous books are in the description as well as in my review.

The grave is one wrong step away.
Having narrowly averted an (under)world war, Cat Crawfield wants nothing more than a little downtime with her vampire husband, Bones. Unfortunately, her gift from New Orleans' voodoo queen just keeps on giving--leading to a personal favor that sends them into battle once again, this time against a villainous spirit.
Centuries ago, Heinrich Kramer was a witch hunter. Now, every All Hallows Eve, he takes physical form to torture innocent women before burning them alive. This year, however, a determined Cat and Bones must risk all to send him back to the other side of eternity--forever. But how do you kill a killer who's already long dead?

Please note that this is an adult book with adult themes.  My review also has spoilers from previous books.

I think these books just get better and better.  I'm not a fan of the typical romance where the guy and girl get together, break up, get together, break up... and that's how the first few books were and that aspect always irritated me even though I loved the rest of the story.  Now that Bones and Cat have finally figured their relationship out I can fully enjoy the story.  And this book may be my favorite yet (maybe ;).   I loved pretty much every aspect of this story.

Once again Cat nearly gets herself killed while trying to save and protect others but she does it with Bones at her side and they kick some serious butt!  We also got to see a few other fabulous characters we've grown to love, as they helped Bones and Cat out.  We got introduced to a few new ones as well.  One is Tyler who is a funny medium who is thrown in with Cat and Bones as they try to figure out how to get rid of the ghost.   He added a few giggles to the story for me and I really loved him.  Another character is the guy who is checking things out for the government and trying to take over Don's job (Tates now) and he is a true jerk.  He did a good job of getting me good and pissed off!  He was an added side story that I can see will continue in the next book.  And really, I'm very anxious to see him go down!

This book didn't have a lot of sex.  I know that a lot of you love those steamy Cat and Bones scenes but I can only recall one... I'm pretty sure I wouldn't forget something like that, but it's possible I am.  But that one scene, well, it's definitely something new ;)  Nope, Cat and Bones have not done it every way possible.  At least not before this book!

I really loved this installment in Cat and Bones story and I can't wait to read more!
