Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My small Southern hometown is beautiful in the haunting way an aging debutante is beautiful. The bones are exquisite, but the skin could use a lift. pg. 1
I reached out to leave my glass on the piano, then watched, shocked, as it went right through and crashed to the ground, a thousand little glistening diamonds on the ceramic tile. pg. 20
This book was excellent! So much more then I expected, and so different then what I'd thought.
Please note that these teasers were taken from the arc and some things may be changed in the final edition. This book is scheduled to be released June 14th, 2011.

I'm so glad you liked it. Every time I see that cover I think she's banging her head against the wall in frustration. Maybe it has something to do with my current stress level... :)

I cannot wait tor read Hourglass! Great teasers too. That first one really gives a feel of a small-minded southern town and the second one makes me want to read it even more.
