I've reached 1,000 followers!

Today is a big day for me.  I woke up this morning and immediately clicked on my phone to see if I'd hit 1,000.  I knew I was close!  But it officially was at 1,000 around 4 pm this afternoon (pacific time) when I checked.  And trust me.  I was checking all day!  This is a huge milestone to me and is a goal I only dreamed of.  It seems like only yesterday I was at 400 followers.  Heck it seems like only yesterday I was at 4 followers!  At that time I had dreams of having a blog that people read, but I thought I'd be in the clouds if I reached 100.  Now I'm at 1,000 and my blog will have it's second blogoversary this December.  The thing is, it's more like it's first to me because the first year I had the blog I didn't post much.  I had my baby right after I started my blog and didn't blog for his first year of life.  Then I started right after he turned one.  So to me this is like my first blogoversary and I want it to be BIG!  (I'll be working on that!)

I really want to thank everyone who follows me.  I hope I'm doing something right, and I must be if your all following MY blog!  I want to reward you all for sticking with me by doing an amazing giveaway but I'm not sure what an amazing giveaway is anymore.  I can't buy a kindle for anyone, I don't have money to giveaway, and I have a stack of books I might be willing to part with if I could just get them read, but even when I do are they books any of you want to read?  I don't know.  But I'm going to brainstorm this.  Maybe someone will offer up sponsorship and I CAN giveaway a kindle.  Or a Nook, or a gift card.  Or books.  We'll come up with something!

The point is, I want to thank you all for following me and I hope you'll all continue to do so.  And I will continue to do giveaways, they just might not be quite as amazing as some peoples, but I'll be working on doing my best for you guys!
