Blog Hop (13) and Friday Follow (2)!

The Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Jenn at Crazy-For-Books.  It's a great way to find new blogs and some great bloggers that we may not have known about!  

Jenn has thrown in a twist now!  She'll ask a question each week so we can get to know each other a little better. 

This week's question:  Tell us about some of your favorite authors and why they are your favorites!

Well, those of you who know me know my all time favorite author is Jacqueline Carey, author of the Kushiel's Legacy series.  She creates an amazing fantasy world based on our in historical times.  Her characters are strong, unique and simply. Amazing!  Her books blow me away every single time!  

Kim Harrison is another favorite.  Her Rachel Morgan series, aka The Hollows, is awesome!  She creates an urban fantasy full of such creative and unique characters.  You just can't help but fall in love with them! 

Some other favorite authors are:

Diana Gabaldon (Outlander series)

Maggie Stiefvater (all her books!)

VC Andrews was a favorite in high school (been planning to revisit some of them)
