This week wasn't a bad week exactly, but it wasn't great either. I did get through a couple books.
I read
Shade by Jeri Smith-Ready (review and giveaway to post TOMORROW!) *AWESOME book!*
Then I read Firespell by Chloe Neill
and right now I'm reading Rampant by Diana Peterfreund
Next on my list I have The Maze Runner by James Dashner
And I have Magic Under Glass by Jaclyn Dolamore
I go on vacation Friday night and I'm thinking I may not get a lot of reading done on vacation, but it'll depend on if I'm able to read in the car. I hope to get some audio at least (any kid friendly recommendations?). I'm not yet sure if I'll be doing blog posts on vacation. I may write some up before hand, but due to my dark background I hate letting it auto post. Something always goes wrong! The print doesn't show up or something. So we'll see. Maybe I'll have a friend check it and make sure it's okay.
This week I'll have MORE contests being posted and I already have a few going.

Many more YA books to come and a few more adult books as well. So keep an eye on My Favorite Things Event!
I also had Lori remove my fancy writing at the heading of posts and on my sidebar. It was causing my blog to load VERY slowly. So now it may be less fancy, but it should load fast now! Let me know if you notice a difference.

ReplyDeleteLove the background for your site and your header (but I understand the concern about the darkness with the writing, sorry!).
ReplyDeleteI loved The Maze Runner, it was so good, and I can't wait to read the next in the series. I'm terrible about audiobooks, but I would definitely check online with your library because often you can download straight from their site.

I am curious to hear how you like Firespell. If your daughter is interested in Harry Potter, Jim Dale's audio books are among my family's favorites. My six year old also liked Kate DiCamillo's Mercy Watson audio books (they are about an adventurous little pig). Hope you have a wonderful vacation! :)
