It’s Monday! What are you Reading? (6)

It’s Monday!  What are you reading?  is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at One Persons Journey Through a World of Books.
Here’s what she says.

What Are You Reading, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week.  It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.
I love being a part of this and I hope you do too!  As part of this weekly meme I love to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme.  I offer a weekly contest for those who visit 10 or more of the Monday Meme participants and leave a comment.  You receive one entry for every 10 comments, just come back here and tell me how many in the comment area.
I had a decent week and got through a few books.
I read:

Heist Society by Ally Carter (Review Here)

Avalon Revisited by O.M. Grey (Review and Giveaway to come this week.)

Willow by Julia Hoban (Review to come this week.)

For this week I plan to read (in no particular order)
Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins (library book so I’ll need to read soon)
Hex Hall (Book 1)
And then it’ll depend on my mood.  But these are a few I have and want to read soon.
Changeless by Gail Carriger
Changeless (The Parasol Protectorate)
Firespell by Chloe Neill
Firespell (Dark Elite, Book 1)
Rampant by Diana Peterfreund

And I have so many others on my shelf that I could pick up that I couldn’t begin to tell you which it could be. But those are a few I hope to read soon.  I also have a couple review books in the mail that I could read if they get here this week.
So what are you reading this week?

  1. I can’t wait to read Changeless. Such a fun series :) Based on the description, Avalon Revisited kind of reminds me a little bit of that type of book. I will have to check out your review.

Firespell is on my TBR list. I have been on the waiting list for this one for months but I don’t want to buy it.

Hex Hall was a fun read. I hope you enjoy it and your other books. Have a great week!

  2. Looks like a great week! I enjoyed Hex Hall and Rampant, and I really want to read Gail Carriger’s Soulless, Changeless, Blameless series. :)

  3. Wow, Candace, you read a lot last week!

I know just what you mean about sharing your favorite books with your kids – it’s so much fun, even with picture books! I felt just like you do – couldn’t wait to share my favorite chapter books with my boys. We read the entire Narnia series out loud together! You have lots to look forward to –

    Sue

  4. I picked up Cyn Balog’s Fairy Tale. It’s been out for a while (I think the paperback is coming out this summer). But it’s captivating. The present tense is a little jarring, but the voice is so powerful.
