Review Policy

Thanks for taking the time to read my review policy, I very much appreciate you doing so!

I am not accepting any more books at this time unless you are interested in having me book a tour for you or do other promotions.  For this information click the CBB Book Promotions tab at the top of my blog. If I have worked with you in the past you may contact me about a review.


Publicists and authors:
I read mostly young adult books in every genre.  I do read some adult urban fantasy, epic fantasy and historical fiction.  I rarely accept chick lit, thriller, horror and mystery.  I do not accept non-fiction unless it's a vegan or vegetarian cookbook, about green living or healthy living.

I post my reviews on my blog.  And I *try* to post them on amazon, goodreads, librarything and B&N as well.

Indie & Self Published Authors:
I do a weekly feature called Confident Reads which highlights Indie books as well as with posts with information for regular people, bloggers and authors.  To help get communication from and to both sides.  This will feature things like what bloggers would like in review requests letter, what we want/expect in a cover, the importance of good editing, etc.  I also plan to bring in Indie authors to help with questions and answers as well as do interviews and guest posts.  I'm currently booked for review books at this time, but I often purchase Indie books based on a pitch.  If I know that you have read my policy and are aware of the current situation I am more likely to give your book a shot.

Please note:
All opinions are my own.  I do not accept money or bribes for reviews.  If I received a book free of charge for review it will state that on my review.  All other reviews are from books I purchased, were gifted or got at the library.
I do occasionally use affiliate links.  All money earned is used to maintain the blog.

I do have a kindle and accept ebooks, but prefer paper books when it's possible.
